These pictures, taken by one our member in late January to March 2006,  from Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs. The people he talked to said this area was hit harder than New Orleans. They also talked of the "homeless" people they once saw walking the beaches, now they no longer see them. That wall of water, depending on the person telling the size of it, was as high as forty feet. When this wall of water receded back into the Gulf, it created a vacuum that took any and everything with it. There are still many people living out of their cars and in tents along the Gulf, some are living in other states and they have not been allowed to return to their homes.
