After the service I came home and served a five  year apprenticeship in the local plumbers union, became a journeyman for eighteen years, before I became sick. I worked in IBM doing installations for them on some of their special equipment. I have had (2) heart transplants, one l987 and the other in 1993 and am still going strong. I have a lovely wife named Patricia, been married 23 years and a daughter named Allyson who is attending Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I am active in community work especially if it concerns veterans, Life member of American Legion, V.F.W., and the SVA. I was made Dutchess County Legionnaire  of the year 2003 for my work on behalf of the Veterans.
