Leonard Ness
    I served with MCB 11 1956-58, as CEW-3. I joined MCB11 in November 1956 and deployed to Adak Alaska 1957, advanced detachment to Subic Bay, PI 1957. Returned to Port Hueneme 1958, released Sept 1958, prior to the MCB 11 deployment to Guam. I spent the balance of duty with Seavee Div 13-1 in Seattle, WA until discharged in 1961 as CEW-2. My uncle Dave Nelson was with the 125th CB Division, WWII, Pacific; and my Grandson Bryan Speed is with NMCB7- currently Najaf, Iraq.
