Russell Allen Marcoe
January 7, 1930 - August 28, 2005
Born in Nebraska to Henry & Ella Marcoe, Russell joined the Navy in 1947. He served overseas building boiler plants in Japan during the occupation. He began the first bowling league while there. Upon his return to the States he was stationed in Coos Bay and retired as a Chief engineer in 1968. He went to work for Agripac as a refrigerant engineer. He married Carolyn Cornett in 1993. He built and maintained Savannah’s Daycare. He enjoyed building new toys for the children. He loved hunting and fishing as well as boating. He attended Silverton Foursquare Church.
Survivors include,Wife, Carolyn Marcoe of Silverton; Son, Doug Marcoe of Madras; Step Daughter, Tammy Perez of Keizer; Step Son, Dale Cornett of Silverton; Sisters, Francine Lynch of Silverton, Nancy Elder of Silverton, Beverly Haslebacher of Salem, and Jody DeBacon of Silverton; Brother, Arnie Marcoe of Salem, and 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson and Twin Great Granddaughters.
Preceded in death by Brother, David Marcoe in 2004.
SERVICES: 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2005 at Silverton Foursquare Church.
