Dennis "Red" Robeson
June 12, 1945 - December 12, 2006

Dennis Ray Robeson, born 6-12-45 in Eugene, Oregon, died 12-12-06. Moved to Oklahoma at a young age and graduated from Mt. View High School in Mt. View, OK. He proudly served his country for 2 tours in Viet Nam as a Navy Sea Bee. He was the squad leader of Third Squad, Second Platoon of Bravo Company, U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Eleven. Upon his completion of his service to our country, he went to work at Midwest Jewelers to learn the jewelry trade. When he left Midwest Jewelers, he opened his first jewelry store in Shepherd Mall, above Dillard's, called Dennis and Bobbie's Jewelry Repair. From there, they moved their store to Yukon in various locations, finally settling at 301 S. Cornwell Dr. in Yukon. Dennis was a warm and caring man who treated everyone like family. He knew the true meaning of friendship and the value of hard work. Dennis and Bobbie owned a farm in Banner, OK, and he loved raising cattle and wheat. Dennis also loved to shoot pool, dance, yard work, remodel houses, his Corvette CS 50th Anniv. Edition, Motown music, and spending quality time with friends and family. Preceded by his mother Helen; uncle Sam, aunt Laura, uncle Travis, and numerous other relatives. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Bobbie and grandson Jack Hyatt III of the home; 3 children, Butch Hyatt and wife Anna, Brendon Hyatt, Marty Hyatt; grandkids, Jimmy, Marty II, Justin; great grandkids, Austin, Emmalee, and Kaylee. Words cannot express what he meant to us, and how much he was loved so very much, and how badly he will be missed. Services will be held 2:00 pm. Friday, December 15, 2006 at the Smith & Turner Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery.
